Launched in March 2023, an investigation conducted by international NGO Sinergia Animal into farms that supply Danone in Brazil reveals practices that cause animal suffering, including painful mutilations performed without pain relief and evidence of slaughter of newborn male calves that does not comply with animal welfare regulations.
Danone claims this is no longer their supplier, but the company still hasn’t committed to ending these cruel practices in Brazil.

Sinergia Animal is calling on Danone Brazil to adopt an animal welfare policy for its entire supply chain, prohibiting the horror exposed by the investigation.
