This investigation has revealed the cruelty and mistreatment suffered by pigs, broiler chickens, and hens during land transport in Colombia.

Some images show the loading process of a well-known Colombian poultry company, where the hens are treated inappropriately, being grabbed by the wings and forced to travel in extremely small cages. Meanwhile, in the case of pigs and broiler chickens, conditions inside the trucks are deplorable.

Evidence of dead, injured, and beaten animals and stressful situations such as high temperatures represent a direct violation of the law. It is non-compliance with animal welfare regulations established in resolution 20223040006915 of 2022, which regulates the transport and handling of live animals in Colombia.
