This investigation, which was narrated by actor and musician Nicolás Pauls, shows images taken by undercover investigators in Argentinian egg farms in 2019. Hens were found living in a crowded and filthy environment inside battery cages, and many of them lacked feathers on their bodies due to the constant contact with wires. Many dead hens were found, some in putrefaction. They were not taken out of the cages but were left inside around the ones that were still alive. The floor of the farms was often covered with manure. Investigators documented hens who managed to escape from the cages but got stuck in these piles of feces and ended up dying.
