ARGENTINIAN DAIRY FARMS
2019-08-01
Sinergia Animal exposed for the first time the shocking reality of dairy farms in Argentina. Right after being born, calves are separated from their mothers and will never see them again, so that they don't develop any affection. Calves are reared in ways that would be considered illegal in the European Union and several US states. They are tied to short ropes or put in small individual crates. They cannot move freely and are forced to live for up to 4 months without any protection against the sunlight, rainfall, heat and cold. Mother cows are inseminated cycle after cycle during their entire life. Carcasses of dead animals are left to rot in open fields, something that can be harmful to the environment and public health.
